Brittany Sandler

My journey in family law is rooted in a deep passion for helping individuals navigate the emotional and legal complexities that often come with family matters. Growing up in Cedar Rapids, I learned the value of community and the importance of supporting those who need it most. That’s what drew me to family law in the first place—fostering understanding and compassion while guiding my clients through some of their most difficult experiences.
After earning my law degree in Des Moines, I spent six years in the city before making the move to Sioux City in 2023 to open Sandler Law, PLLC. I’ve always been dedicated to providing clear and empathetic counsel, whether I’m helping a client through a divorce, working on a child custody dispute, or advocating for the best interests of children. My goal is always to prioritize the well-being of my clients and help them find resolution, no matter how challenging the situation may be.
I’ve built my practice on the values of integrity and personalized service. Clients appreciate my clear communication, unwavering commitment to their cases, and my ability to navigate complex legal issues with compassion. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in negotiation, mediation, and litigation, earning a reputation for delivering effective strategies that lead to positive outcomes.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the farm with my fiancé, Brett, and our dog, Lola Grace. Whether we’re riding motorcycles, going on side-by-side adventures, or relaxing at my family’s cabin on the river, I cherish the moments spent with loved ones. I believe in the importance of work-life balance, and I carry that perspective into my practice, always aiming to bring a sense of calm and clarity to my clients during stressful times.

Nikki’s background in administrative roles and her passion for supporting the legal field bring a refreshing energy to the firm. She’s often the first person clients interact with, helping them feel welcomed and supported from the very first contact. Whether it’s addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, or making sure everyone stays informed throughout their case, Nikki’s dedication ensures that each client has a seamless experience with us.
Her enthusiasm for learning and growing—both personally and professionally—makes her an invaluable asset to our team. She’s always eager to take on new challenges and adapt to the ever-changing legal landscape, all while bringing a positive, can-do attitude to every task.
Outside of work, Nikki loves spending time with family and friends. You’ll often find her boating on the river, hiking with her Aussies, or crafting unique home décor. She’s also a fan of local fairs, events, and concerts across the Midwest, always ready to enjoy a good time and create lasting memories.
